Description
Castello di Uviglie Hosteria Monferrato Rosso DOC 2022 is a unique blend of 60% Pinot Nero and 40% Barbera from Piedmont, cultivated on calcareous-marl soils typical of Monferrato. The grapes are hand-harvested and undergo gentle pressing with controlled temperature fermentation. The wine ages in stainless steel tanks for nine months followed by at least twelve months bottle aging before release. Made using the Guyot training system, this 14% alcohol wine represents the Bonzano family’s dedication to traditional winemaking in Rosignano Monferrato.
