Castelvecchio Carso Vitovska is a white wine produced by Castelvecchio in the Carso DOC region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy. Made from 100% Vitovska grapes, a native variety of the Karst area, the wine reflects the unique terroir characterized by red-tinged limestone soils rich in iron. The vineyards benefit from a constant light breeze and ample sunlight. Grapes are manually harvested and softly pressed. Fermentation and subsequent aging sur lie occur in concrete tanks, preserving the wine’s freshness and minerality. The result is a wine that embodies the essence of its origin.
