Things aren’t always what they seem. Rene Magritte famously painted a picture of a pipe with the phrase “This is not a pipe.” written under it. His point was that it’s an image of a pipe. It was just a representation. The wine we have today is called ce n’est pas un verre de vin which translates to “This is not a glass of wine.” For us, it isn’t just a glass, or bottle, of wine. It’s much, much more. This wine features crisp apple flavors and notes of white flowers, but really represents all of the hard work and know-how that goes into a bottle of wine. It’s the amalgamation of creativity and practicality. So enjoy it lightly chilled while contemplating everything wine represents for you. Judges love it too! It took home 94 points and a Platinum Medal at the 2020 Winemaker Challenge and a Silver medal from the 2019 Sommelier Challenge.
