Chartreuse V.E.P. Jaune is an 84 proof (42% ABV) ultra-premium limited allocation produced by the Carthusian Monks at the Aiguenoire distillery in France. V.E.P. (Vieillissement Exceptionnellement Prolongé) signifies an exceptionally long maturation period in oak casks, extending for at least eight years beyond the standard bottling age.

Utilizing the secret 1838 recipe of 130 mountain herbs and botanicals, the spirit is macerated in neutral alcohol and matured in large oak tuns before being finished in smaller demi-muid barrels. The resulting profile is exceptionally refined, offering deep notes of floral honey, saffron, and anise, balanced by a sophisticated oak integration and a silky, viscous texture.
