Pitch black in color with a dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced blackcurrant, ripe black cherry and liquorice aromas followed by some blueberry, cedar, dried herb and spice notes. The palate offers rich blackcurrant, licorice and black cherry fruits are framed by a robust tannin structure which imparts a firm, muscular feel. Fresh and well fleshed yet quite chewy, it has a deeply fruited medium to long finish that carries plenty of grip. 13% ABV
