50% Merlot, 34% Cabernet Franc, 16% Cabernet Sauvignon
The slopes of Chateau Pavie and Ausone were first planted by the ancient Romans in the fourth century. Textually, a very complex feeling composition. It has abundant fresh fruits (a combination of red and black berries) filling in its grandly -built structure. Tannins are perfectly ripe and smooth, with vibrant lingering acidity. Some vivid fruit sensations in the middle palate, extending to a very long and linear finish. 14.5% ABV
