Description
Clos Fornelli La Robe d’Ange is a red wine from Corsica made from 100% Sciaccarellu grapes grown on the eastern coast of the island near Aleria. Josée Vanucci and Fabrice Couloumère produce Clos Fornelli La Robe d’Ange 2024 from 18 hectares of certified organic vineyards on clay and alluvial soils from the Bravone River below the Castagniccia mountains. The grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts after partial destemming, followed by three weeks of maceration in concrete tanks. The wine ages for six to ten months unoaked with minimal sulfur additions and remains unfiltered.
