Description
Force of Nature embodies Corentin Houillon’s mastery of Altesse, Savoie’s noble white grape variety also known as Roussette. Cultivated on 1.5 hectares of Quaternary glacial molasse soils interspersed with limestone jets on steep Chautagne slopes, these biodynamic vines produce concentrated fruit. The winemaking follows a purist approach: spontaneous fermentation occurs in old barriques using only indigenous yeasts. The wine remains on its fermentation lees throughout aging, developing complexity and texture until bottling without any sulfur dioxide additions.
