The Corolla Calyx Vermentino is aptly named. A corolla is the whorl of petals that make up the outside of a flower, and the calyx is the outermost part of that protects the buds as they grow. What does this have to do with wine? Well, this Vermentino is full of tropical flower flavors. Young and zippy it features beautiful white flower notes that play off of citrus and guava. We think this is a wine that should definitively be enjoyed young so that you can savor the fruit flavors and zippy acidity. Enjoy on its own or with light seafood. Judges love it too! It took home a Silver medal from the 2020 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition and at the 2019 Sommelier Challenge.
