Crown Royal Marquis is an 80 proof (40% ABV) limited-release produced at the Gimli Distillery in Manitoba, Canada. This expression, which launched in select markets in May 2025 before expanding nationwide in February 2026, is the brand’s first nightlife-inspired blend finished in Caribbean rum casks. The technical maturation process takes the signature Crown Royal blend of corn, rye, and malted barley and rests it in rum barrels to introduce tropical sweetness and exotic spice.
Technical profile analysis reveals a nose of honey, brown sugar, and vanilla bean. The palate is characterized by velvety notes of fig, date, and molasses, leading to an unmistakably smooth finish with lingering hints of oak and baking spices.
