With notes of ripe stone fruit and florals combined with complex oxidative notes, our Curioture Chenin Blanc is a delicious expression of its growing region and the experienced hand of the winemaker. This wine hails from the diverse terroir of the Breedekloof region in South Africa, where wine styles vary by location. The valley floor is home to most of the region’s white varieties. Cool air here settles around the low-lying grapes and allows them to maintain their acidity despite the region’s characteristically high temperatures. Our experienced local winemaking partners preserved Chenin Blanc’s beloved varietal characteristics by fermenting the wine in stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures. Each sip of this wine offers layers of complexity from primary, secondary, and tertiary notes. We suggest serving it at cool temperatures to experience its full potential.
