Who says a “red wine blend” can’t go head-to-head with iconic, esoteric, varietal specific winemakers – and blow them away? Our previous release did, and this one is sure to follow suit. Sourced from multiple vineyard locations within the North Coast and Central Valley of California, the grapes chosen for this red blend experienced the classic Californian diurnal shift seen so often during the growing season. Every lot saw daytime sunny skies and cool nights, which allows the fruit to ripen fully during the day while also develop and retain natural acidity during the cooler temperatures at night. Flavors of dark berry fruits and red fruits are complemented by spicier savory notes. Dark in color and fruit-forward, each sip is enhanced by round tannins. Perfect for pairing with red meat dishes full of rich flavors.
