This is the first wine from the 2022 growing season that we have added to the club, and it’s setting a high bar for those who follow. Shiraz is the bright shining star of Australian wine. South Eastern Australia is sunny and dry, perfect for these small, flavor-packed grapes to ripen. After picking, the grapes are pressed, and the juice is kept in contact with the grape skins just long enough to gain its cheerful pink color and charming fruity flavors. This wine is a wonderful companion to social gatherings, big and small. Serve it chilled alongside smoked salmon appetizers or a cheesy main course.
