The Domaine Abeille Heritage Red is a special wine. Comprised of 95% Petit Verdot this wine has unique and intriguing flavors that can only come from the Old World grape. Strong aromas of black fruit bolster the herbal and floral tastes in the wine. The winemakers at Domaine Abeille focus on terroir-driven wines, wines that are made better by cross-pollination from the local bee colony. Petit Verdot showcases the floral notes of violet, lilac, lavender, and sage. Our experts have loved drinking it with fresh fruits and vegetables alongside a charcuterie board.

Tasting Notes:This wine is opaque and vivid purple in color, with mouth-watering aromas of blackberry and boysenberry. ​Notes of ​caramel and toffee, as well as chocolate, enhance the ​oak profile. ​It has a medium to full body, and a rich texture with soft, creamy​​ tannins.
