Description
Domaine Bobinet Californie is a field blend of Cabernet Franc, Chenin Blanc, and Pineau d’Aunis grown in Saumur, Loire Valley. Winemakers Sébastien Bobinet and Émeline Calvez farm organically on tuffeau limestone soils rich in minerals. Grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts in their ancient cellar carved into limestone cliffs. The wine is produced without added sulfur, bottled unfiltered and unfined following minimal intervention principles. This light, refreshing wine reflects their experimental approach to natural winemaking while maintaining Loire Valley typicity.
