Description
Domaine Chantal Lescure Pommard Les Vaumuriens 2018 is a Pinot Noir from the Pommard appellation in the Côte de Beaune, made by Domaine Chantal Lescure. Domaine Chantal Lescure Pommard Les Vaumuriens 2018 comes from vines over 45 years old on the left hillside of Pommard, with a north to northeast exposure. The site is described as brown limestone over white marls and hard limestone, with yields around 35–40 hl/ha. Harvest is manual; grapes are sorted, destemmed, not crushed, followed by pre-ferment maceration, a gentle, long fermentation in stainless steel, moderate pigeage, and 18–25 days of cuvaison. Élevage is on lees in a cold cellar, in barrels including 30% new 500 L casks, then bottled without filtration.
