Description
Domaine de Durban Beaumes-de-Venise 2024 is a red wine by the Leydier family, blending 70% Grenache, 25% Syrah, and 5% Mourvèdre from approximately 50-year-old vines on the southern slopes of the Dentelles de Montmirail. The soils are a mix of 60% clay and 40% Triassic limestone, an ancient geological formation rich in magnesia, calcium carbonate, and iron that was carried to the surface during the formation of the Dentelles. Grapes are hand-harvested, destemmed, and macerated in stainless steel for 15 days. Domaine de Durban Beaumes-de-Venise 2024 is then aged in barriques and bottled unfiltered. 14.5% ABV.
