Description
Domaine de l’Octavin Charlot is a natural red wine from the Jura region of France, crafted by winemaker Alice Bouvot. This cuvée is an unconventional blend of Merlot, Molette, and Muscat grapes sourced from biodynamic vineyards. Grapes are hand-harvested from vines grown in clay and limestone soils. Whole-cluster fermentation occurs over a 30-day maceration period in tanks, with spontaneous fermentation driven by indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged for an extended period in tanks and then bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with no added sulfur.
