Description
Domaine de l’Octavin Grenabar is made from equal parts Vermentino and Carignan grapes sourced from Claude Ughetto’s biodynamic vineyards in Vaucluse, Provence. Winemaker Alice Bouvot employs a unique technique where Carignan is pressed directly, then whole bunches of Vermentino are added to infuse in the juice for three weeks. The grapes grow on granitic and quartz soils. This négociant wine reflects Alice’s natural winemaking approach with no added sulfites, creating a light rosé-style wine with distinctive character.
