Description
Domaine de la Voûte des Crozes Côte-de-Brouilly 2024 is a red Cru Beaujolais made from 100% Gamay grown on the mid-slopes of Mont Brouilly, a prehistoric volcanic massif in the southern Beaujolais. The vineyards, planted at a density of 10,000 to 12,000 vines per hectare on schist and diorite soils locally known as “roches bleues,” face east and northeast. Grapes are hand-harvested and fermented as whole clusters with natural yeasts in stainless steel cuves, followed by traditional carbonic maceration. The wine then ages for at least nine months in large oak foudres before an unfiltered bottling. Domaine de la Voûte des Crozes Côte-de-Brouilly 2024 is certified Terra Vitis and produced with minimal sulfur additions.
