As an ode to Savagnin’s many different expressions, starting with the 2018 vintage, Domaine du Pélican has decided to experiment with a skin contact cuvée. The result is a white wine fermented as if it was red, with its skins, and gives the wine additional structure without losing its tension and vibrancy. skin-contact (“orange”) wine from the Jura region, defined by tension, vibrancy, and a textured, aromatic profile. It features notes of apple cider, lemon peel, and yellow plum with a distinct, salty, and slightly bitter finish. 12.5% ABV
