Description
Matassa Brutal Orange is a natural orange wine from the Roussillon region in France, crafted by winemaker Tom Lubbe of Domaine Matassa. This wine is part of the “Brutal!!!” series, a collaborative project among natural winemakers to produce experimental and unconventional wines. This cuvée is made from 100% Macabeu grapes, sourced from old vines. Grapes are hand-harvested from organically and biodynamically farmed vineyards. The wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Extended skin contact during fermentation. The wine is aged on its lees, and bottled without fining, filtration, or added sulfur.
