Description
Matassa Cuvée Alexandria is a natural orange wine from the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France, crafted by winemaker Tom Lubbe. This cuvée is made from 100% Muscat of Alexandria grapes. Grapes are hand-harvested from organically and biodynamically farmed vineyards. Whole clusters undergo maceration for three weeks, followed by spontaneous fermentation in concrete tanks using indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged in 2,500-liter foudres, enhancing its texture and complexity. Bottled without fining, filtration, or added sulfur, preserving its natural character.
