Description
Domaine Matassa Olla Blanc is a natural orange wine from Tom Lubbe’s single vineyard “Coume de l’Olla” in Roussillon’s Calce commune. The blend combines Macabeu, Muscat d’Alexandrie, and Muscat à Petits Grains from 30-45 year-old vines grown on limestone-clay soils with high iron content at 500-600 meters elevation. Whole clusters undergo two weeks of skin maceration in concrete tanks with indigenous yeasts. The wine ages for eight months in 2,000-liter concrete tanks, bottled unfined, unfiltered with zero sulfur additions.
