Description
Domaine Saint-Cyr La Galoche Beaujolais is a vibrant and refreshing red wine made from 100% Gamay grapes. The estate, located in Anse on the southern edge of Beaujolais, is run by Raphaël Saint-Cyr, the fourth-generation vigneron of the family. The vineyards are planted on clay-limestone soils, contributing to the wine’s characteristic minerality and freshness.
This Beaujolais wine undergoes a cold carbonic fermentation for one week, followed by six months of aging in concrete tanks. The result is a bright, juicy wine with aromas of red berries such as strawberry and raspberry, accompanied by a touch of earthiness. On the palate, it offers a delightful balance of fruit, acidity, and subtle tannins, making it an easy-to-drink yet structured wine.
