Description
Domaine Tessier Cheverny Blanc is produced from 50% Sauvignon Blanc with Chardonnay and Menu Pineau (locally called Orbois) grown on organic vineyards in the Loire Valley. The estate, certified organic since 1998, farms 26 hectares across three soil types: siliceous clay, silico-clay-limestone, and gravels on limestone bedrock. Grapes are manually harvested and each varietal is vinified separately using native fermentation. Malolactic fermentation occurs naturally, and the wine ages in stainless steel tanks for six months. Minimal sulfites at 23 mg/L complete the process.
