Description
2015 – Inspired by a trip to the Piedmont region of Northern Italy, Andy and Deb Cutter added Dolcetto to their collection of wines at their Duxoup Wine Works winery. Following the Italian way of making Dolcetto, they kept the alcohols lower and retained the savory textures of terroir on the palate. From there they injected their own Duxoup, hand-on style of wine making that really shows through in the quality of the hand-picked fruit. Although you might not think so by just the nose on the wine, which is full of aromas of black cherry, boysenberry, red currant, loganberry and a light spice, this is a lighter, fresh style of red. It features a nicely developed, intense red berry infused palate and a supple finish. It is very fun to drink by the glass but is a showstopper when paired alongside lasagna, grilled chicken, sausages or wild mushroom galette. We DO NOT ship item is available for in-store pickup only.
