This particular representation of Agrelo perfectly captures the equilibrium and sophistication of the 2019 harvest, influenced by a cooler winter and summer. Produced from vines that are over 40 years old, this wine highlights a harmonious interchange of scents and tastes with a balanced level of ripeness, lively freshness, and a delicate, chalky texture. Despite the lack of limestone in the soil, it offers a dry and structured finish that reflects the careful craftsmanship put into its production. Bottling was completed in July 2020, with a limited amount of 7,200 bottles. The 2019 Gran Enemigo Agrelo Single Vineyard is a red blend, with a particular focus on Cabernet Franc, which is a defining characteristic of the Gran Enemigo line. Winemaker Alejandro Vigil is renowned for creating wines that showcase Argentina’s terroir-driven expressions of Cabernet Franc, often blended with small amounts of other Bordeaux varietals such as Malbec and Merlot
