Description
Ercole Barbera del Monferrato is produced by a cooperative of local growers in the Monferrato DOC area of Piedmont, Italy. This red wine is made from 100% Barbera grapes grown on calcareous-clay soils with southern exposure in vineyards aged 30 to 50 years old. The grapes are harvested in late September to early October and fermented in concrete tanks before stabilization in stainless steel. Ercole Barbera del Monferrato 2023 follows sustainable farming practices under lotta integrata standards, with many growers certified organic, using only minimal copper and sulfur treatments. The wine is certified vegan and bottled in one-liter format.
