Description
Eric Chevalier Chardonnay is produced from 100% Chardonnay grapes grown at Domaine de l’Aujardière in Pays Nantais, Loire Valley, France. The estate is located near Saint-Philbert de Grandlieu, southwest of Nantes, in a maritime climate influenced by the Atlantic Ocean. Vineyards sit on granite and metamorphic rock soils characteristic of this former ocean floor. Eric Chevalier Chardonnay undergoes spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks, with no oak aging. Bottled unfiltered, the wine reflects Eric Chevalier’s sustainable and organic farming practices, certified organic since 2020.
