The entry-level red 2022 Versos de Valtuille is a young wine that ages in 7,500-liter oak vats, as they’d rather have the wine there than leaving them empty. So, it’s more than a young, fruit-driven and unoaked wine; it has depth and complexity and is very harmonious, with contained ripeness and 13.4% alcohol. It’s juicy and balanced, young and tasty, with very fine tannins, round and elegant. 40,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in April 2024.
