Description
Fabio Gea Back Grin Grignolino 2021/2022 is crafted by former geologist Fabio Gea at his estate La Msoira e’L Rastel in the Barbaresco area of Piedmont. Made from hand-harvested Grignolino grapes grown on family vineyards using organic practices, the wine undergoes destemming followed by two to three weeks skin contact fermentation. Fermentation and aging occur in custom-made porcelain and stoneware vessels designed by Gea himself. No sulfur is added during winemaking, and the wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered, expressing pure Grignolino character.
