Description
Fabio Gea DNAss is crafted by former geologist Fabio Gea at his estate near Barbaresco in Piedmont. Made from destemmed Nebbiolo grapes grown organically on family vineyard plots, this wine undergoes two to three weeks maceration before fermentation in custom-made porcelain and stoneware vessels. The unique aging process involves submerging the ceramic vessels in a pool of water for four months, which Gea describes as “water and wine making love.” The wine is bottled unfined, unfiltered, and without sulfur additions.
