Field Recordings So Far Out Chillable Red 2023 is a field blend of Nebbiolo, Charbono, and Chenin Blanc sourced from organically farmed vineyards across California’s Central Coast. Winemaker Andrew Jones draws on his background as a vine nursery fieldman to identify underappreciated sites with real potential—vineyards planted with Italian and rare varieties that are rarely seen in California blends. Fermented with native yeasts in neutral vessels, the wine is bottled with minimal sulfur additions at 12.5% ABV. Field Recordings So Far Out Chillable Red 2023 is designed to be served chilled, offering an accessible, low-intervention red with structure and character.
