Every region experiences its own climate as well, but the commonality amongst all is typically a diurnal temperature shift during the growing season. A diurnal shift means that the hot, dry days are mitigated by fog and wind to create cooler nights. This wine is a blend of 3 different varietals from 3 different appellations within California – Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Zinfandel from Mendocino County, Lake County, and Napa Valley. Because of the combination of bold, lush varietals, this wine is intriguing and elegant. Made in a Left Bank Bordeaux style, sweet and savory notes meld with dark fruit flavors.
