France Gonzalvez Alpine 2022 blends Gamay from two distinct French terroirs: alpine Savoie and granitic Beaujolais. The Savoie fruit comes from vineyards in conversion to organic certification, while the Beaujolais Gamay is certified organic. France Gonzalvez hand-harvests both sources, then subjects the grapes to 10 days of carbonic maceration using indigenous yeasts. The wine ferments and matures for nine months in concrete tanks before bottling unfined and unfiltered with just 10ppm sulfites. Labeled as Vin de France, France Gonzalvez Alpine 2022 sits at 11% alcohol—light-bodied and refreshing.
