Description
Frank Cornelissen Munjebel PA is crafted from 100% Nerello Mascalese grapes from the Porcaria cru in contrada Feudo di Mezzo at 640 meters elevation on Mount Etna’s northern slopes. The vines are over 60 years old, trained in traditional alberello style. This challenging location requires perfect conditions for optimal ripening. Grapes undergo 50 days of skin contact fermentation with indigenous yeasts, followed by 18 months aging in neutral epoxy-resin tanks of 1500-2500 liters, plus 18 months bottle aging before release.
