Description
Frank Cornelissen Pistemutta Rosato is a natural rosé wine from the northern valley of Mount Etna in Sicily, Italy. Crafted from 100% Nerello Mascalese grapes, this wine pays homage to traditional Etnean winemaking practices, producing light-bodied, and elegant wines. Grapes are hand-harvested from organically farmed vineyards in Contrada Feudo di Mezzo. Destemming and light crushing of the grapes, followed by spontaneous fermentation initiated with a pied-de-cuve. The must remains in skin contact for one night to achieve its delicate rosé hue. The wine is aged in neutral epoxy tanks ranging from 2,500 to 8,000 liters to preserve its freshness and purity. Bottled with minimal intervention, the wine undergoes light filtration before bottling, and sulfur levels vary between 15 to 60 mg/l.
