Description
Chillable Primitivo 2024 is a dry red wine made by Jack Sporer of Fresh Wine Co. under the label, sourced from Benguerel Family Vineyard in Kenwood, Sonoma Valley, California. The vineyard is farmed regeneratively by Ross Cannard on own-rooted, dry-farmed vines planted in Los Robles series gravelly clay loam, without synthetic pesticides or herbicides. Grapes are hand-harvested, fully destemmed, and fermented with native yeasts with regular punchdowns before being pressed mid-fermentation. Chillable Primitivo 2024 is aged in neutral French oak, bottled unfined and unfiltered with approximately 25-30 ppm SO2 added at bottling.
