Description
G.D. Vajra Barbera d’Alba DOC 2024 draws fruit from six estate vineyards across the communes of Barolo, Novello, and Sinio, where diverse soil types—white marl, clay-iron, and older calcareous formations—contribute distinctive character to each parcel. Harvest spans up to three weeks to pick each site at optimal ripeness. G.D. Vajra Barbera d’Alba DOC 2024 ferments for approximately 20 days, then ages at least twelve months in stainless steel tanks and French oak barrels. The high-altitude vineyards at 400 meters and Barbera’s thick skins result in slow ripening and vibrant natural acidity.
