Description
Gabrio Bini Serragghia Bianco is an orange wine from Pantelleria, Sicily, produced from 100% Zibibbo grapes (Muscat of Alexandria). Hand-harvested from old bush vines grown at high elevation in volcanic soils, the grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts in buried terracotta amphorae, some over 400 years old. The wine macerates on skins for seven months, then ages twelve months in amphorae before bottling. Produced without fining, filtration, or added sulfites, this natural wine reflects Pantelleria’s unique terroir between Sicily and Tunisia.
