Description
Girolamo Russo San Lorenzo Etna Bianco is produced from vineyards located on the northern slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily, Italy. The volcanic soils, rich in minerals, and the high-altitude terroir contribute to the wine’s distinctive character. This white wine is made from 90% Carricante, complemented by 10% of other indigenous varieties such as Catarratto and Grecanico. The grapes are hand-harvested from vines averaging 60 to 100 years old, ensuring low yields and concentrated flavors. Fermentation occurs with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks, followed by aging on fine lees to enhance texture and complexity.
