Description
Our Gold Ghost Albariño captures the essence of Clarksburg’s cool climate and gentle bay breezes. Each sip offers a perfect balance of crispness and creaminess through notes of stone fruit, citrus and melon. These Albariño vines are descended from cuttings brought over from Spain in the early 2000s. This native Spanish grape has made a new home in Clarksburg’s vineyards, where it enjoys breezy days and cool nights nurtured by silty, loam soils. After harvest, the wine is fermented at cool temperatures to preserve freshness and natural acidity. It then ages four months on its sediment or “lees” to enhance its texture and create the satisfying richness you will discover on the palate. Savor the flavors of Clarksburg in every glass, showcasing the magic that happens when Spanish roots meet California’s exceptional terroir.
