At Firstleaf, we have been absolutely loving this South African Sauvignon Blanc. The Granted Wish definitely lives up to its name. It has been a zesty wine to enjoy as the seasons change, but we plan on drinking this year-round. It has beautiful notes of light grass and citrus that mingle together to create an incredibly fresh profile. At the very back of the wine, there is a hint of rich minerality that adds a touch of depth that keeps us going back for another taste. If this is your first South African wine, don’t worry! This has all the hallmarks of what makes South Africa an amazing New World wine region. Judges love it too! It took home a Silver medal at the 2018 Harvest Challenge and a Bronze at the 2019 Hilton Head Island Wine and Food International Wine Competition.
