Description
Grégory Guillaume’s L’Excentrique is a natural red wine from France’s Ardèche region, crafted from Merlot grapes. The fruit is sourced from 20-year-old vines nestled in the hills, thriving in clay and limestone soils. After hand-harvesting, the grapes undergo approximately one month of carbonic maceration, a technique that enhances the wine’s fruity and floral characteristics. Following fermentation, the wine is aged in old barrels for ten months, allowing it to develop complexity while preserving its fresh profile. Bottled without fining, filtration, or added sulfur.
