Description
Gut Oggau Timotheus Weiss 2022 is a textured white blend from Eduard and Stephanie Tscheppe’s biodynamic estate in Burgenland, Austria. This cuvée combines Grüner Veltliner and Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc) from 40-year-old vines planted in gravel and limestone soils. One-third of the hand-harvested grapes ferment on skins for approximately three weeks, while the remaining two-thirds are direct-pressed; the wines are then blended. Gut Oggau Timotheus Weiss 2022 ferments spontaneously and ages for 12 months in used 500-liter barrels without bâtonnage. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, with no sulfur added. 12.5% ABV.
