Description
Gut Oggau Winifred Rosé 2024 is a biodynamic rosé from Austria’s Burgenland region, produced by Eduard and Stephanie Tscheppe at their restored 17th-century estate near Lake Neusiedl. This wine blends Blaufränkisch and Zweigelt from 35-year-old vines grown on gravel and limestone soils. Crucially, the Winifred vineyard is dedicated exclusively to rosé production—no saignée from red wine. Gut Oggau Winifred Rosé 2024 is hand-harvested, destemmed, and fermented spontaneously with native yeasts in used 500, 1000, and 1500-liter oak barrels. Aging lasts approximately 8 months before bottling unfined, unfiltered, and without added sulfur.
