Description
Hardin’s Creek Boston is a highly allocated, 110 Proof (55% ABV) ultra-rare Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey released in 2023 as the final chapter of the “Kentucky Series.” This 17-year-old expression highlights “Kentucky terroir,” utilizing the same 77% corn, 13% rye, and 10% malt mash bill as its series counterparts. The spirit was aged at the James B. Beam Boston campus, where the specific microclimate and widely spaced rackhouses drove an intense interaction between the whiskey and the charred oak staves.
Produced at the James B. Beam Distillery, this release focuses on the technical impact of environmental maturation. The Boston campus’s unique elevation and sunlight exposure accelerated the development of a robust chemical profile. The resulting whiskey is dominated by deep oak tannins, leather, and dark cocoa esters, offering a heartier, more spice-driven character than the Clermont or Frankfort editions.
