This 2026 release, which is the fifth and oldest edition in the series, is a marriage of 270 barrels distilled in February, July, and August 2003. The liquid matured for 22 years on the 5th and 6th floors of Rickhouse Y at the Bardstown site. Utilizing the traditional bourbon mash bill of 78% corn, 12% malted barley, and 10% rye, this non-chill filtered barrel-proof expression offers a structurally dense profile.
Technical notes include concentrated dark fruit, toasted nuts, and leathery oak tannins, balanced by a syrupy butterscotch sweetness that persists through a long, spice-heavy finish. It remains a definitive benchmark for high-intent collectors of ultra-aged Heaven Hill stocks.
