It is made from 45% Parellada, 30% Xarel-lo, and 25% Macabeo, and aged for 20 months on the lees, roughly double what the DO typically requires. The result is a golden platinum sparkling with a fine bubbly mousse in the glass. It has well developed aromas of fall fruits, bright apple, pear, citrus and toasty notes.
